NOTE:
The listing shows two (2) Solenoid Mounting Brackets. The kit came with one (1).
A call to NOS indicated that only one (1) bracket is supposed to be included-
a single bracket for mounting both fuel & NOS solenoids. I argued, saying the
diagrams contradicted what I was being told, but got nowhere with them.

    System Overview

Turbocharged Applications
written by Nitrous Oxide Systems

NOS Turbo Nitrous Systems are designed to be the perfect complement to a factory or aftermarket turbocharged engine. From a standing start, and during low or mid-range RPM "before the turbo is at full boost" nitrous will eliminate all "turbo lag", providing instant torque gains. In addition to adding 30-40% extra HP and torque (depending on the base engine), the nitrous oxide acts as an additional intercooler, as it is injected into the intake at -127F and as it mixes with incoming air, the intake charge can drop by as much as 75 degrees F. These kits are fully adjustable for various power settings.

This kit is applicable to the following vehicles:

    More Information

Kit Details

Although the kit was never installed, two (2) parts had been worked on toward its installation. 1st, the NOS solenoid had its sticker removed, & the body was scrubbed of its coating. The install was going to be 'stealth,' hence the effort. 2nd, the throttle switch mounting bracket was modified to fit a 3rd generation throttle linkage. It now fits perfectly on the linkage, so if you have a 3rd-Gen Supra, part of the work has already been done for you.
To accomodate those who would like their NOS solenoid noticed, I have included a couple of NOS stickers in the kit that will fit the solenoid. Insofar as coating on the solenoid body, you can polish, & clearcoat it as I had intended; or simply clearcoat it for protection against corrosion.
See the photos below to see what was done.

Other than the pictured parts, all the remaining parts were untouched.

Jetting & Tuning

The jets included with the kit are: These are the jets included with the kit that give it its "50-shot" designation. They both fit into the Fogger nozzle, & are changeable. NOS supplies VERY conservative jetting, which means it'll run on the rich side- so I'd get a 0.020" or 0.018" to have on hand before actual tuning began. Jets for both fuel & NOS are identical in construction/materials. See the parts #s below, for the recommended fuel jet substitutions.

Standard Jets: High-Dollar Sapphire Jets: All of the above are NOS part #s.
The sapphire jets are supposed to be more accurate, but I think they are more for people who like to say they use -sapphire- jets.

If you run any fuel computers [VPC/GCC/S-AFC/S-AFR], then you will have more of an edge in tuning capability, depending on their current settings. Turning knobs is less work than swapping jets! One of the big reasons I wanted a Dry-Shot instead of using this kit, was due to the fact my VPC/GCC are nearly pegged lean after Wideband O2 AF meter dyno-tuning. I've got plenty of fuel to run a *small* dry shot. Of course, this I found out after I had already bought the wet NOS kit you see here.

You can tune it without the Dyno & wideband O2 sensor AF meter, using spark plug condition as a barometer; but for best results, do it on the dyno w/wideband. It's a much more controlled environment than taking it out on the road for a spin. You may already know this, but I figured I'd throw it in.

    The DEAL

As you can see from the receipt pictured below, I paid $522.94 for the #5348 kit. The 1st question anyone will ask is, "Why are you selling it?" Once I got the kit, I realized that it was much more NOS than I wanted to use. Upon closer examination, I decided that a very small Dry-Shot was what I was looking for. I then began collecting the individual parts necessary to assemble a Dry-Shot of my own design.

If you've perused this website at all, you may have come across the Custom Dry NOS System linked on the Miscellaneous Mods Page. Therein lies the entire reason for me selling this kit.

The price of $400, shipped anywhere in the Continental United States, is a bargain in ANYBODY's book.

Final Note

Over the past year, or so, I have had many people express interest in this kit, yet NO-ONE has stepped forward in earnest. I understand, as it takes some mighty big balls to actually take the NOS plunge; but please only respond to this offer if you are serious. I prefer that it goes to someone who understands the magnitude of this modification; and has the mechanical prowess to pull it off...without blowing their motor.

If you don't already have a solid understanding of fuel injection, & turbocharging, please DON'T even consider this mod!
